Process: 

1. What’s the process if I place an order of paper box printing, corruagated box printing, rigid box, book printing or catalog printing etc? 

Step 1: We quote prices according to the specification. 

Step 2: After you confirm the quote, we place an order on Alibaba or by email. You confirm. 

Step 3: You pay the deposit. At mean time, you upload your artwork and our designer will check the artwork. 

Step 4: After you approve proofs, we start printing. 

Step 5: Before we complete all printing products, we will inform you to book the boat or ship by air. 

Step 6: If we ship by air, you need to pay the balance before we ship out. If we ship by sea, after the vessel sails, you pay the balance, then we do Telex Released BL. After we receive the balance, we send BL, packing list and invoice to you. 

Step 7: You pick up in local port or we ship to door. It depends on the order shipment term. 

 

2. How do I prepare the artwork of paper box printing, corrugated box printing, rigid box, book printing or catalog printing or magazine printing etc? 

QinQin printing requires 3mm bleed on box artwork each edge and all pages each edge for binding good quality product. For example: size 210X297mm artwork should extend to 216X303mm. If the design has a white border on all four edges, bleeds are recommended, but not required. If the design is not white on all four edges, the design must be included bleeds in the artwork. If you don’t understand clearly, please email us. We will give you more information. 

 

3. What’s the color mode? 

We are an offset printer. We use CMYK color mode to print paper box, corrugated box, rigid box, books, catalogs or magazines. If your artworks are not CMYK color standard (e.g., it is RGB or Pantone etc), we will convert to CMYK color standard during preflighting. Conversion from RGB or Pantone will cause colors to shift. So please provide CMYK color mode will be better. 

 

4. How do I upload artwork? 

You may upload artwork by wetransfer.com, or sprend.com.  

5. How do I pay the payment? 

We can accept credit card payment on Alibaba Trade Assurance, bank wire payment or PayPal payment. 

 

Delivery time: 

1. What’s the turnaround time? 

It takes around 2 weeks for doing paper boxes, corrugated boxes after you approve PDF proofs or hard proof and we receive the deposit.

It takes around 3 weeks for doing rigid boxes after you approve proof and we receive the deposit.

It takes about 3-10 days for printing flyers, leaflets, booklets, brochures, magazines, catalogues, books which the binding is collate and cut or saddle stitch binding or perfect binding after the customer approves the proofs and we receive the deposit. 

It takes about one week for printing folders after the customer approves the proofs and we receive the deposit. 

It takes about 2-3 weeks for printing hardcover books after the customer approves the proofs and we receive the deposit. 

This turnaround time doesn’t include shipping time and custom clearance time. 

 

2. Does QinQin Printing guarantee turnaround time?

Yes. QinQin Printing guarantees turnaround time, which is also known as production turnaround time when all requirements have been met by client to begin turnaround time period. While QinQin Printing strives to meet turnaround commitments for every job, production delays may occur. In the event that QinQin misses a turnaround commitment, QinQin will remedy the situation by providing a refund for rush charges or a courtesy rush on your next job. Cancellation of a job or entire order based on turnaround time is permitted only if the original order clearly states that the job is time sensitive and that if it cannot be shipped by the contracted date, the client does not want us to process the order.  

Please note that QinQin assumes no responsibility for shipping delays caused by delivery carriers or any damages resulting from the failure to receive a job on time. Our expected arrival date-also known as delivery date-is an estimate only. As a result, QinQin Printing cannot be held responsible for delivery delays once your job leaves our facility.

To minimize shipping delays, we have selected FedEx and DHL as our preferred air shipping partner, and we will make every effort to work with you to ensure your job arrives on time.

 

3. What’s the custom clearance time?

For sea shipment, it takes about 2-4 days for doing custom clearance in Shanghai after the products are finished. 

For air shipment, it takes one day for doing custom clearance. 

 

4. What’s the shipping time? 

FedEx shipment:

It takes 2-3 working days for priority FedEx or DHL shipment from Shanghai to USA or Canada. 

It takes about 3 working days for priority FedEx or DHL shipment from Shanghai to Australia 

It takes 2-4 working days for priority FedEx or DHL shipment from Shanghai to Europe. 

It takes about 4 working days for economy FedEx from Shanghai to USA or Canada. 

It takes about 4-5 working days for economy FedEx from Shanghai to Australia or Europe. 

 

Sea shipment: 

It depends on where we ship.

Sale support

1. If I did not receive the products, how do I do?

For FedEx or DHL shipment, we will tell you the tracking number after shipment. You may check online or call your local FedEx and DHL or email us. We also can follow for you. 

For sea shipment, we will do Telex Released BL after we receive the balance. We will write down the forwarder contact information on BL. You may contact with them directly or we contact with them to ask the delivery information. 

 

2. If the products were damaged, how do I do? 

We will pack the products by cartons and pallets with shrink wrapped to make the package well in sea shipment or air shipment. We also pay insurance fee for each shipment if we do sea shipment or air shipment.

 

Quality: 

1. Do you provide proofs before you start printing paper boxes, corrugated boxes, books, catalogs, magazines, brochures etc? 

Yes. For regular products, we provide PDF proof. If you need to check the final products color, we can provide hard proofs or product sample. But you need to pay hard proofs cost. The hard proof cost depends on the specification. We also can provide dummy for checking paper and binding. 

 

2. How similar is the hard proof and final printing products? 

We print hard proof by GMG ColorProof system. The hard proof color and final products color are similar more than 95%. 

 

3. How does your company control the quality? 

A major feature to working with us is that we handle quality control (QC) during every step of the printing process. From reviewing samples, to onsite press checks and bindery checks, to monitoring overseas shipping; we can check and report the process for you.

Our factory passed GB/T19001-2008 idt ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System Certification. 

We do all quality control process according to GB/T19001-2008 idt ISO9001:2008. 

 

4. What equipment does your factory have? 

We equip advanced 2pcs Kodak CTP machines, 2pcs Heidelberg 4-color printing machines, 4pcs Komri 4-color printing machines, one box gluing machine, one rigid box machine, one Swiss Martini adhesive binding machine, one saddle-stitch binding machines, 4pcs folding machines and so on. 

 

Price:

1. How do I get quote? 

You may send inquiry or email us the specification. The specification should include size, quantity, box paper, cover paper, interior paper, page count, box shape, how do they bind information details. We will quote within 24 hours in working day. 

 

2. If I confirmed the order, may I change the quantity or the printing specification? 

If you confirmed the order and we started printing, you can’t change the quantity and specification. 

If you confirmed the order and we didn’t start printing, you may tell us what you need to change. You can change the quantity or specification. If there is any extra cost, you need to pay the extra cost for changing. 

 

3. What does the price include in your quotation? 

We can quote EXW our factory price, FOB Shanghai price, CIF your local port price and DDU price. 

EXW our factory price means it doesn’t include any shipping cost or custom clearance cost. You need to pick up in our factory. 

FOB Shanghai price, we will ship products to Shanghai port and we will do custom clearance in Shanghai. 

CIF price, we will ship products to your local port. It doesn’t include your local port costs and local shipping cost and your local custom clearance cost. 

DDU price, we will ship to your door. The delivery place should be warehouse place or company address, not residential address. It doesn’t include local tax or tariff.
